World of Warcraft’s sixth expansion will be revealed next week

Despite heavily implying that patch 6.2 wouldn’t be the final content patch for the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor expansion, Blizzard has revealed that new content for the latest expansion is done, and the publisher is almost ready to unveil what’s next.

In a post on the official World of Warcraft blog, Blizzard says it will reveal the expansion next week during Gamescom. The reveal will be livestreamed on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 9 a.m. PDT.

On Sunday Aug. 9 at 8 a.m. PDT, Blizzard will broadcast a follow-up stream with developers chatting about the new expansion.

Warlords of Draenor was the fifth expansion for World of Warcraft and was released on Nov. 13, 2014, just under 10 years after the massively multiplayer game’s original release. Since World of Warcraft launched in 2004, Blizzard has been open about a desire to release expansion packs on a yearly schedule, but thus far there’s been around a two year wait between each expansion.

With only two major content patches for Warlords of Draenor and the expansion announcement about to hit earlier than expected, it’s possible Blizzard will finally hit its one year goal with expansion number six.    Best wow gold online

Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns new info

Today ArenaNet has revealed the tempest, the elite specialisation for the elementalist profession debuting in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns.

The tempest enables players to harness the elements with a myriad of new skills and a new weapon to utilize-the warhorn. ArenaNet Game Designer Karl McLain examines the strength and versatility of this new elite specialization, including how it came into being during the development of Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns.

Tempest is a close-range specialization capable of blasting out damage, healing and support abilities, including ‘Eye of the Storm’ which allows players to call down a storm on their characters and allies. Eye of the Storm breaks stun on anyone affected in a short radius and grants them super speed for a short time; there’s also ‘Aftershock’, an ability which cripples nearby enemies with earthen force. The tempest also possesses the Overload ability which allows players to call in the forces of either fire, water, air and earth to benefit the player and their allies, depending on their attunement. More details about these skills and how players can use the warhorn weapon can be found in the official developer blog.

ArenaNet will reveal the first in-game look at the tempest’s abilities when McLain joins host Rubi Bayer on Points of Interest airing on tomorrow (Friday 24th July) at 9pm CEST (8pm BST) via the official Guild Wars 2 Twitch channel. -Guild Wars 2 Online

‘Guild Wars 2: Heart Of Thorns’ New Event Revealed

“Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns” has a new event named Adventures.”Adventures are small, fast-paced, single-adventurer events that challenge you to master a wide variety of skills in a race against the clock,” game designer Byron Miller wrote on the game’s website.

Adventures are custom-built with leader boards which allow players to compete against friends and guild mates. Miller revealed that the team evaluated the different content of the game such as skill challenges, jumping puzzles and renown regions to find out which could be improved.

The developers of “Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns” felt that those content lacked replay value, had limited ties to the game’s story and did not provide enough social interaction for players. “Each Adventure showcases a seemingly simple path to victory that requires strategy, practice, and mastery in order to excel and ultimately achieve success,” Miller stated.

Adventures also allow players to master a variety of various skills. Players will have a short amount of time to shoot as many targets before the nobles’ shoddy craftsmanship begins to show and the target dummies degrade. Ammunitions will be given as a reward for accuracy and prowess.

Miller also confirmed that they have been reducing unpredictable randomness in “Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns” Adventures. He admitted that there are underlying patterns and systems in every situation.

Players can also quit and restart an Adventure by hitting the restart button. However, these attempts should be as short as possible to earn a place on the leader board. Each leader board will provide players with rewards such as the daily participation reward. It will also have three tiers which require a certain minimum score or maximum time to enter.

It was previously reported that new updates have been introduced to improve the “Guild Wars 2” gameplay experience. The Lion’s Arch has been rebuilt and has “bounced back from Scarlet Briar’s attack.” It will be the game’s center of commerce and culture once again.-Cheap Guild Wars 2 Online

World Of Warcraft, Pacific Rim 360 VR Videos Offer View From Mythic Gryphon

Legendary Pictures has created two amazing new videos showcasing 360 degree looks at World of Warcraft and Pacific Rim.

First up is the World of Warcraft video, promoting the upcoming World of Warcraft movie. Titled World of Warcraft: Skies of Azeroth, the video was developed by Industrial Light & Magic xLAB and showcases a stunning first-person view of the city of Stormwind as viewed from the back of a magic gryphon.

From Legendary Pictures, Universal Pictures and Blizzard Entertainment, Warcraft hits theaters June 2016. It’s based off the first game, Orcs and Humans, in Blizzard’s iconic Warcraft game series. Orcs and Humans tells the tale of how the Orcs arrive in Azeroth from their planet of Draenor under manipulation from demonic entities known as the Burning Legion.

Legendary brought this video to San Diego Comic-Con, but now those who didn’t make it to sunny California can enjoy it as well. This video lets you look around the cockpit, aka the Conn-Pod, of a 250-foot Jaeger named Gipsy Danger. The video takes place during a battle against the Category-3 kaiju codenamed Knifehead. All the while, Pacific Rim star Charlie Hunnam’s smoky twang coaches you through your battle until he gets ripped out of the cockpit by Knifehead. The video ends with rain pouring through the shattered glass.

The Pacific Rim animated series is set to premiere next year and is currently being shopped around to various Japanese animation companies. Pacific Rim: The Anime should tide Pacific Rim fans over just long enough for the Pacific Rim sequel, Pacific Rim 2, coming out in 2017. There’s also another prequel comic coming out this fall titled “Pacific Rim: Tales From The Drift,” a follow-up to “Tales from Year Zero” that is confirmed for a November debut.-Buy cheap wow gold online

Duncan Jones on what makes his world of ‘Warcraft’ unique in film fantasy

Finding the Legendary booth on the floor of the main exhibition hall at Comic-Con is always fairly easy, because they don’t do things by half-measures. This year, all you had to do was look for Ogrim, the giant Orc wielding the massive Doomhammer, and that’s exactly where I found Duncan Jones, director of next June’s “Warcraft.”

Google Cardboard struck a deal with Legendary to help them create a very nice viewer for the new Legendary VR app that was being demoed at the booth. I got to run through all three of the experiences that they’ve put together, one of which was clearly based directly on last year’s full-sized Jaeger Pilot exhibit. They’ve also created a “Crimson Peak” experience which is one long walk down a haunted hallway in the bones of the home that serves as the focus of Guillermo Del Toro’s new film. Finally, they’ve created a race through the skies of Azeroth on the back of a griffin, and that last one was a perfect lead-in to my conversation with Jones, who showed up while I was getting my first look at the world he’s created for “Warcraft.”

I asked how he felt to finally be showing off footage from the film for Hall H, with this being his third year at Comic-Con. He laughed. “I’m still just getting over the convention madness. I’ve been running around getting stuff signed.” He was indeed laden with various bits of nerd paraphernalia, and he compared navigating the floor to playing a frantic round of Mario Kart. “I also turn into an uber-nervous wreck,” he confessed. We talked first about the VR app and about how far VR has come since I moved to LA in 1990, stopping first in the Bay area to make sure I could meet Jaron Lanier, one of the fathers of modern virtual reality.-Buy cheap wow gold

Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns’ new guild features won’t leave smaller guilds behind

Guilds are so important to Guild Wars 2 that they put them in the title. Presumably, back in the days when the first Guild Wars was being developed, before they thought about social stuff, it was just called Wars, and that is a terrible name for an MMO.

With a new expansion on the horizon, Heart of Thorns, ArenaNet is introducing a slew of new features for organised groups of adventurers, from fancy things to craft to PvP guild teams. And it doesn’t matter if you’re in a massive, established guild or a wee one with a group of mates, ArenaNet tells us.

With Heart of Thorns, ArenaNet has overhauled the progression with that in mind. So even a tiny 5-person guild, if they are dedicated, will be able to make a guild hall and achieve the same sort of things as the larger guilds, it will just take them a bit longer. And you’ll also be able to bounce around different guilds, helping out even if you’re not a member.

Individuals and other guilds will be able to team up and help small guilds get a leg up. ArenaNet doesn’t want guild halls to split up the community. It’s more of a staging ground, they say; a meeting place where groups can plan things out and go to another destination together, always sticking together. This includes players who aren’t even in the guild.Heart of Thorns launches this year.-Cheap GW2 Gold online sale

‘World Of Warcraft’ Gameplay Updates Introduced New Map

Patch 6.2 featured new “World of Warcraft” gameplay updates including a new Kingdom.

Blizzard introduced a new series of seven different weekend Bonus Events as part of the “World of Warcraft” gameplay update. Two of these events feature Timewalking Dungeons: one in Outland dungeons for level 71 and higher characters and another in Northrend dungeons for level 81 and higher.

“When you Timewalk these dungeons, your character’s power and gear will be scaled down to a fraction of what they normally are, and as you may have never ventured into some (or any) of these dangerous places, it might be a good idea to prepare yourself now,” Blizzard wrote on the game’s blog.

Azjol-Nerub, an empire of great strength in Northrend, was overtaken by Scourge forces and is now occupied on two fronts. The Upper Kingdom houses undead nerubians which patrol their homeland, safeguarding eggs that will become the new generation of Scourge warriors.

On the other hand, faceless enemies stir in the depths of the Old Kingdom, Ahn’kahet. It is speculated that they are minions of an evil power lurking beneath Northrend. Players will need to destroy the undead nerubians and their eggs as well as eliminate these mysterious faceless enemies to reclaim the fallen empire.

There are five powerful bosses in Ahn’kahet. Elder Nadox was reanimated by the Lich King and will slaughter anyone who opposes the might of the Scourge. Prince Taldaram is one of darkfallen, great blood elf followers of Kael’thas’s who were slaughtered and raised into undeath.

Jedoga Shadowseeker is rumored to be one of the most fanatical adherents of the Twilight’s Hammer and has learned to use her shamanic powers to serve the Old Gods. Amanitar is a native beast of Ahn’kahet which was turned an unthinking, monstrous creature. Lastly, Herald Volazj is an ancient warrior roused to annihilate anyone who is foolish enough to threated the Old Gods.-Cheap wow gold online sale
