Ronda Rousey is a new character in World of Warcraft

Ronda Rousey’s appreciation of nerd culture is well documented. She was a stalwart moderator on a Pokemon message board, she loves Dragon Ball Z and now she has a new feather in her geek cap-an NPC in World of Warcraft.

The next expansion “Legion” will feature “Rhonda,” who is a “Master of San Soo,” according to her title. San Soo is a form of kung fu, and her character can be seen practicing with a polearm against a dummy in the Monk’s class hall. Blizzplanet released video this week showing Rousey, along with several other homages to famous people as Easter Eggs.

Rousey is a World of Warcraft player, so it will be surreal for her to come face-to-face with her digital self.    Buy cheap wow gold

New FIFA 16 Update Patch 5 Live On PC

A new FIFA 16 update patch has now been released for the PC platform. The same update should be making its way onto the PS4 and Xbox One consoles very soon as well.

This new update patch is number 5 for FIFA 16. All of the changes were mentioned on the game’s official website. They focused on four areas. The four areas included: “Penalties and referee decisions, Passing, Defensive pressure and Player positioning.”

The update patch notes for PC are: “Improvements to the Rules and Physics systems to have better referee decisions and help address penalty decisions, Behavioral changes in ‘Secondary Contain’ and ‘Interceptions’ to help balance high-pressure situations, Improvements in how quickly fatigue effects occur for players using ‘Aggressive Interceptions’ and ‘Secondary Contain.’This could, in turn, have an impact on your ability to apply high pressure as the game progresses and your players become increasingly fatigued, Instances where no auto tackle launched even when positioned properly and Improvements in the positioning system to allow for better attacking runs and support.”

EA Sports also made some changes to the “attribute boosts provided by Chemistry in FIFA Ultimate Team”. As aforementioned, a similar update will be making its way to PS4 and Xbox One very soon.   Fifa 16 ios coins

Bot Software Is Killing PvP in World of Warcraft

For more than 10 years fans of World of Warcraft have been divided between those who prefer PvE progression, and those who prefer the competitiveness of PvP. Although Blizzard has made an effort to introduce content and rewards for both sides of the game, there’s always been a sense that PvP has been a second-rate option; classes are primarily balanced around PvE, many PvP gear models are recolors of older gear, and thoughtful new ways to enjoy PvP are infrequently encountered.

More recently, Blizzard’s lackadaisical attitude about the growing number of cheaters in PvP has put a frown on the face of anyone who enjoys arena or battlegrounds.

Cheating in PvP has become a serious issue in the competitive scene of WoW. Bots are easier than ever to find on the internet, allowing thousands of players to become introduced to the world of botting after just a few button clicks. Equally as important, the bots are more sophisticated than ever, capable of interrupting spell casts and more resulting in high win rates. This has particularly affected high rating play, where it’s common to face bots on a frequent basis. Consequently, many cheaters have been able to walk away with highly elusive gladiator titles and rare gear for Warlords of Draenor’s PvP Season 2, including a few popular Twitch streamers.

Botting is similarly prevalent in battlegrounds, where auto-follow bots result in teams having less than a full team to play with. This has been particularly frustrating for players who are trying to gear up as winning is the only reliable means of earning high honor reward.

If Blizzard were to respect PvP to any reasonable degree, it would likely have fewer issues with retaining subscribers. Its subscriber count is somewhere around 5 million to 5.3 million right now, which is a historic low since Vanilla. Things aren’t getting better, either. The recent “major” patch didn’t usher much in the way of new content to the game, and it’s going to be anywhere up to nine more months before Legion arrives, which thankfully will include a PvP system revamp.

If there’s a way to cheat, some players are going to use it. Ultimately, it’s up to Blizzard to make sure that when someone considers cheating, they know that they are taking a huge risk. Until that happens, the quality of life of WoW’s PvP systems will continue to dwindle.   Buy cheap wow gold

Guild Wars 2 Experiences Currency Deflation

Buy cheap GW2 gold  It’s no secret that MMORPG economies are ever-changing, with the value of in-game gold fluctuating as time goes on. Guild Wars 2 has been following a pretty inflationary cycle since its release but has recently started what is arguably a very rare event: the gold has been going through deflation.

Games have to choose one of two things: either have enough gold sinks that players can’t afford anything or allow players to build up their gold as time goes along. The obvious choice for most people is the latter, and it’s the most common method. Just like in the scenario before, what this means is that with every mob killed or quest completed, more gold is being added to the economy. This, by nature, means the value of items has to go up-otherwise a normal player could afford to buy everything there is. It simply isn’t going to happen. It’s true that some items will stabilize at a certain price point, but end-game items are those that are most often seen rising in value since it’s where the main focus of the game is.

For Guild Wars 2’s gold metric, there is one type of item that helps determine what its value is: gems. Gems are tradable via the in-game market and are how players can effectively take part in legal RMT. As such, these are directly correlated to the cash value, and therefore are also related to the prices of goods in-game. The way this market works is pretty simple: as more players buy gems using gold, their price goes up. As more players trade their gems for gold, their price goes down.

This information is unique because it’s extremely rare. Generally, inflation follows games either forever or until they shut down. Having something turn like this is a huge change over the norm, leading to proof that games can turn around and deflate-despite being on a strong inflationary pattern, they can reverse this. And what makes this even more interesting is that while the drop from 24g to 18g may not seem like a lot due to how large the numbers are, they have effectively put the gem prices back where they were around a year ago-all done in just a couple of months!
