After leaving worship services last night, Elder Meyer had a very serious set-back in his condition.  Overnight he was taken to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery in an attempt to improve his condition.  The surgeons report that the procedure went well, Elder Meyer remained stable throughout the process and is now resting in the critical care unit.  We do not seek to minimize this situation.  Elder Meyer is in very serious condition.  We have contacted Elder Jonathan who is serving the brethren in Africa . His itinerary has been modified and he should return early Monday.  Elder Meyer’s present children and adult grandchildren have been with him engaged in earnest prayer. We have laid our petitions at Yahweh’s throne.  Nothing more can be said than that his life is truly in Yahweh’s hands, as it always has been.  We ask now that all of the brethren here join us in prayer and our petition goes forth on the streaming system to the assemblies and brethren around the world to join us now as we approach the throne and ask Yahweh to work in a miraculous way, to remember His faithful servant, to heal him, to comfort him, and to return him to us whole if it be His will so that we may all rejoice.  We should all continue in steadfast prayer on behalf of Elder Meyer as the Sabbath continues and ends.  The Meyer family asks that you pray for us also, and for Mrs. Meyer especially to give us all strength in this difficult time.  Please respect our privacy and dignity during this very difficult time.  Thank you and may Yahweh bless us and remember Elder Meyer in this time of his greatest need.

4/7/2010- We have requested a day of prayer and fasting on behalf of our pastor starting at sundown this evening. Prayer changes things! Elder Jacob O. Meyer continues to be in very serious condition but is resting peacefully. Pray for a miracle in Yahweh and Yahshua's Name.
